I may be the only one that did this but, you need to put the (hydraulic pedal box in my case)clutch switch for the starter relay in the very top hole of the clutch pedal. Otherwise if it is installed in the lower hole it will start while the pedal is out. Doh! If I did it again I would try to...

Jacked the car up first off and no noticeable wheel movement. Installed OEM ball joints. The inner axle joints (DOJ) were loose where the spring pin holds them onto the tranny stubs shafts.Replaced with OEM front axles. Still got vibration. Think I will check out the front caliper guide pins again a...

I just have the same issue. Have done new front rotors. I have new ball joints now just have to put them in. Although the front wheels dont seem loose at all like people have stated. The rear rotors will be next in line. After tie rod ends theres the front end bushings to go over. I just want to see...

My 2 cents...synthetics seem to be more viscous/liquid right? So they sneak past hardened seals easier. Wether it be oil pan, valve covers, cam orings, front main seal and oring, and lastly the valve stem seals which harden from many miles. You will get leaks sooner. I like the synthetics benefits a...

Both. Closed deck keeps the cylinder walls in place for much needed strength for both applications. Less likely to have a block failure at least. It would be more prone to blow at the headgasket. :?: If I had a choice I would go closed deck or (semi-closed deck like USDM Sti) for turbo (or dont go t...

This should relate: Spoke with IPD's Subaru engineer and when they were testing their 425 whp Sti they ran four Egt's, one in each ex port of the stock manifold or as close as they could. Cylinder three ran @100 degrees hotter than the rest. After installing the GP Moto one-piece header, reinstallin...

Check fuses first. Have any of the fan speeds worked prior? Or has it always not worked? The blower motor resistor should be checked first. The most used fan speed(s) fail first. Once it is out you can see if it is bad. Or just test for 12V to any one of the blower motor pins. If there is no 12V app...
