Replacment for coolant tank?
I need a replacment for the plastic coolannt tank that the radiator cap goes in. I also need to re-locate the tank to accomodate an AWIC. I would like to get an aluminum tank that fits the oem pressure cap. I searched the vendor forums and ebay but didn't come up with anything. Any ideas or known pr...

I filled the loose sloppy 100,000 mile mounts on my Mazda with Polly. It worked great, noticably reduced rocking. 15 psi should be fine considering all the stuff you are upgrading (intercooler, fuel, EM, turbo). Assuming you don't screw anything up, 15 psi should be pretty conservative. Lots of people run 15-16 psi with less infrastructure upgrades. I don't think the mileage is too much of an issue. The age of...

I have a 93 SS 5spd. It has over 230,000 miles. The engine runs great, tranny is great. Comp = 155 to 160 all 4. Fixed !!!!
I fixed the pinging problem!!
It turns out it WAS a faulty coil.
The coil must have been leaking voltage to the wrong leads.
I swaped a junkyard coil on and the problem went away.
I guess a voltage leak would also explain the wacky timing readings.
