Havnt updated the thread in a while, I got my pistons, and got my block bored and now I am just waiting for the block to get back (its getting assembled by a subaru tech)

sounds like its starving for fuel, replace the fuel filter and run some injector cleaner through us and let us know what happens.

I recieved my dtec the other day in the mail and I am starting to install it, can anyone tell me any tricks to the install?

it depends on what you are going to use the car for. do you have one or are you looking? just daily driving and keeping the car stock with normal maintenance the car will last 300k plus miles, hell i wouldnt be suprised to see a 22t with half a million miles on it and still going strong. now as far ...

does anyone know what the JECS maf will max out at if you just replace the turbo one with it?

I understand that, the problem is the heads I have on my car are mystery heads. they could be this they could be that, all I am trying to pinpoint is the cars that HAVE this composite timing gear, and weather or not they will work with my sensors, I know they bolt up thats not what I am asking

anyone know about the cam sensor question I asked in my previous post?

so am I going to have to re locate my cam sensors? or since the pattern is the same its ok? I guess I dont really want to hear theories, its coming time to throw my engine in and I dont want to have to rip it out again because of timing gears. so my question is has anyone ran the plastic timing gear...

its coming down to assembly time for my car and I need to know for sure if there is any timing gear that I need to make this work. I have heared talk of only XXX gear working but not XXX gear.

I have black plastic timing gears for my 20g heads. the pickups are in the same spot as my stock 22t gears.

it seems no matter how I drive I can only get about 220-230 out of a tank (miles)
