Thank you everyone for chiming in on this thread... It's been entertaining to see what you guys think.... I'm really just interested in throwing in the turbo with the minimum amount of work possible... Really I only have $1200 in this car and I'm wanting to get some experience on wrenching/tuning on...

Alright I got home last night and cleaned the MAF w/q-tip and alcohol, and hopefully reset the computer.... I still get my code 35, but I'm thinking of going the resistor option on that fix... I'll keep you posted on the cleaning the MAF and if it works.... Thanks everyone for your advice...

You might check my post in the electrical section. Someone posted a quick fix that I haven't tried yet, but it may be something you might want to check before getting a new motor..

Anybody out there want to sell me some rear speaker mounts for my wagon... The previous owner pulled them out and put some jacklegged speakers in there but removed the mounts..... Let me know.....

How? I pulled the covers and there is no ring for a speaker to sit in or to be fastened to, it's just open above the spring mounts... I guess I could install them in the factory grill covers....Anyone else do this?

I was checking my rear speakers in my wagon due to some cracking noises... I found some ford speakers that were put in by previous owner, my question is what fits in there?? The factory mounts are gone and I', wanting to replace them..... Any help???

So I turn on the rear wiper and it just hangs there, then you hear it clicking... So I'm getting code 35 when I run the diagnostics and I understand that it is the evap solenoid, is that a crucial device that engine needs to run and would it affect MPG?
