That's because they didn't. Motori Moderni made the engine. Subaru just put their name on it. One of those engines was sold on ebay either last year, or the year before. It went for around $30,000. I wish I could have bought it.

Whats the new displacement going to be? ~2.7 L w/ the 2.5 crank and the block being bored.

Maybe a H6 is in the future for more torque.
