what about any damage that could be done? and just for interests sake, i changed a constant 4wd to free wheel front hubs on a mitsubishi pajero(in oz) and it made quite a difference to the economy i was getting

have just done exactly what you are trying to do. had a leak so when i dumped the oil i replaced the filter as well. haven't got pics but there is a small bolt to the rear of that tube you can't see very well, to hold it in. then i used a lever to "very" gently prise it out of the way. it ...

has anyone ever done this on a 4eat+ej22? if so, how.
i can hardly get my fingers in there let alone 2 spanners and then adjust it properly.
does subaru have a special tool for doing this.

where is the port on the back of the block??
i installed a mech oil guage, but the sender unit was to big to fit under the alternator. i just used some 1/4" oil line and some barbed fittings.

18-22 rear swaybar

have just fitted an 18-22 swaybar to the rear of the wagon. unfortunately the young guy who served me didn't know which holes were 18 and which was 22.
for the moment i have it in the centre hole. i am thinking the inside hole is 22 and the outside 18???? can anyone with one of these help.

laurel, you will be pleased to know i will probably use your pics more than josh's scans. the car has had a new hood lining put in at some stage and i think they covered the lugs up!!!! as for your legs, they are all just jealous as legs tend to pull more looks than cars do...at least they do here i...

need to put a child seat/capsule into a 1990 gx wagon. do these have holes already to allow for the fitting of seats, or do you need to mount your own.

good old ej22 decided to get hotter than normal today. no coolant loss until i did the stupid thing of loosening the cap. symptoms are hot top radiator hose, fins in radiator hot top of radiator cool and bottom radiator cool to touch does this sound like the thermostat?? usual story, happens night b...
