i didn't think much of it until i read this thread...

but on my '95 all the HVAC lights and cruise control back light are out.. i find it hard to believe it would be all the bulbs... although the rear defrost is backlit...

the bulbs that light when you press the buttons work; but none of the back ...

hard decision.. hell, it seems like the more i put into my '91 the more problems i ended up with. lol. i really didn't want to buy a new car.. but it just got rediculous. every month i was dumping like $100 - $150 into it. give or take, if i would have just did the same for another 4 months i would ...

as far as not reducing slop; that's incorrect. i still need to put the bushings in but that spring made a dramatic difference.

my 91 tranny (which i beat tremedously) is still good, but the duty c solenoid has been shot for a long time. in march i swapped and rebuilt the engine and had the tranny checked out in the process.

and according to what i found online, the L was supposed to come with disc all around, only the base model and the brighton had drums in the back.. but ...

i find most parts guys (at the dealership) are extremely helpful on the phone. whether it's an issue that needs addressed ASAP, seeing which parts are swapable between models/years, or just simple things like "what would be the best way to do xxxx?"

that's what the garage quoted me. i just bought a 95 legacy sedan because my 91 *finally* had all she could take (until i replace the timing belt with an oem)... and there's too much shifter slop.

exactly which bushings should i replace and which should i leave alone?

on my way to Toronto last year, i had my legacy pegged at 140 on the QEW... it was just me and this eagle talon at like 3am.. he cut out at about 120 or so, so i kept it down.

since then, the car is dead.. looking for a new one. rar.
