i'd think the problem is rubber compond... what is you warmed them a bit heated garage or something... any better ? i ran my yoko trz (70)on the ss for a bit they seemed fine even in snow

ecu ground? i had an 93 l wag that had all sorts of gremlins abot it mostly grounds all next to ecu. i final gave it away after reairin and replacing wires that didn't test out. well that car also picked up water on the pass side from a rotten fender and leaky ac..

Same symptoms as me, scares me whitless when you can hear everything banging away. Did you manage to cure the original problem with the vacuum hoses as most of mine are what I would call loose. Oh and the control solenoid is the one thats bolted to the front of the (i would guess over there) passen...

do the output shaft on ss warp and pit like on the 2.5 legacys? I had to have my buddy get a sleeve for my old wagon the throw out would et hung up sometimes and squeel.. the fork also spiderd at the pivit point not pretty

well if its anything like my ss the gauge says empty for like 2 days before the light comes on then you better get to the pump asap ran it empty twice just to see how off it was i squeezed 60+ from empty to lightcoming on haha love those faulty grounds

for the first two months i owned this turbo i was only getting 130 to a tank then i relized i was only putting 10 gal into it gauge is way off i suggest AAA and run it till its empty haha

knock is a great start but seems more coolant sensor but why not just see what the comp. says if you can count the flashes fast enough i had to do it a few time to get the correct #'s
