or, u can plug ur intake line..

or what alot of people do is, just put the MBC on the turbo side of the solenoid.. which is suppose to be able to allow for more boost.. idk how since i jst use ECU tuning to adjust boost lol i love OBD2

hi, i own a 2003 wrx with a 2.0l, and i can get 17 psi with the td04 at 2500 rpm.. so 11 psi at 2100-2200 is about the same off the td04 on my car.. Interesting, is that on a manual tranny? I'm guessing you have at least the pre-turbo cat removed, how about post turbo cat(s)? manual tranny, all cat...

u think maybe it hides in the heads for start up purposes? maybe to keep the start up lubricated.. this problem even occcurs on my 2003 wrx.. sometimes it is showing empty, sometimes full.. i have used mobil 1 since i bought her. they only time i burned oil was when my seals in my turbo were bad.. n...

nah, most tuners here
(subie tuners lol) will tune at about 10.3-10.7... any leaner on a pump gas only car is sketchy.. i know its hard to believe but that how crappy gas here is...

still better than rats piss 91.. even cobbtuning has an OTS map just for Arizona Califonia and Nevada gases..

the are treated with crap to help with smog problems...

we are in california.. 91 octane crappy gas, its dangerous for us to go that lean on pump gas...

10.3 is the richest my wrx is tuned for.. at full boost its at 10.6...

the gas here sucks so we have to tune safe

yes, i thought switching to OBD2 would be nice, seems like he doesn't want to.. for now.. could he just get an afr gauge(one that actually reads the AFR's, and a MBC and see how close we could get to 10.3 afr? i don't want to go leaner than that since the motor has 218K on it lol.. btw.. this is my ...

OBD1... what is used.. or do yall just use fuel controllers, MBC's and timing adjusters..

ok.. i myself own a 2003 wrx, i also interned at a Subaru tuning shop

the stock psi on a wrx is 13.8, the wastegate spring is a 7 psi spring.. so if u swap a td04 into the leggy and up the boost ull have to use an mbc to up it anything abouve probably 8 psi due to the leggy's stock BCS...

i think the hanger may have been bent or something for an aftermarket exhaust, and then he put the stock on, and he didn't want to bend it lol

ok.. it has an adjustable middle hanger.. the type that goes around the 3in. piping and bolts together to hold in place... and btw Casey(hardware89) its 3 in piping.. and when we install it we will see how close it is... if it crazy far, we probably can just take it to a welding shop in copper and t...
