Heh, I built this one last year. Unfortunately I built it a bit too short and too low for me to sit comfortable in it, so I wrapped it up and gave it to my nephews for christmas. They stayed in it all week playing GTA on their PS2.

Error code 32 or if the car jerks when accelerating from the lower rev range.

"Exactly" depends on how sensitive it is :) There where marks after the screws though, so yes I'd say it was close enough. Is it possible to monitor the signal by either voltage or resistance? I haven't seen a portable with com or parallel ports the last couple of years, so I can't really ...

I'll try that, thanks. I've also been suggested to clean MAF and check the TPS.
Read somewhere a dirty BPV could throw code 24 as well, so plenty of places to look :)

Yup. The inside of the top looked brand new btw, and the shaft kept spinning with ease, so no problems there either.

Resistance in the IAC and voltage with engine on is also ok.

Well, problem returned yesterday afternoon. I found a way to reproduce it though, just let go of the throttle while in gear and CEL comes on somewhere between 1200-1700 rpms.

No problems this morning after another good cleaning, odd.

I found a nasty leak in the pressure system btw. After I fixed it the turbo spools at least 250 rpms earlier... Cheapest optimization I ever did

Cleaned IAC (again), let it idle a bit, reved it a couple of times, had a short chat with the neighbour, "yes it's subaru, yes it's a bit loud, no it wasn't built in hell", went back indoor now smiling.

Code 24 - IAC problems - update: reproducible

I have an odd problem with the IAC. The car idles fine, but while driving CEL comes up once in a while and stores a code 24. I cleaned the IAC which helped a lot, but there are still problems. I can't provoke the error and it comes on out of the blue. On my way home from work it failed during WOT at...

It doesn't have a sunroof, I think it's a bit silly offering both sunroof and A/C (though my impreza had both) :D

I'm not sure what the clutch reservoir came off, perhaps the same car as the gearbox. I'm sure it's off a subaru though, so I'll see if I can find a p/n on it.

HappyFrogs 92 Turbo

Hello I'm new to this forum and thought I'd say hello with a pic or two of my "new" subbie. I'm a danish dude, 31 years of age and someone named me Johnny ages ago. I had a classic Impreza until recently but sold it since I only used it for trackdays and decided to try on a Legacy instead....
