well its been at a bad idle for about 6 months atleast, but didnt think to much of it, replaced the spark plugs, but didnt help, but the car drives fine other then when i push clutch in and let rpms drop, it normally dies, even when warm it might drop and die, or itll drop to like 200rpm and go back...

so i have a 90 legacy N/A and it doesnt like to stay running, especially when cold the rpm's just drop and dies, i try to feather the gas but it just keeps dropping and dieing, when its all warmed up if i rev it up to about 3k it drops and dies, but if i bring it down feathering the gas lightly it s...

recently not much other then oil changes

any advice would help!?

when you say go straight through style magnaflow, what you mean a full exhaust? i dont think my bro wants to put that much into it...

and apex, i have an NA legacy 90, and it has a very nice subie rumble...idk whats all done to the exhaust cuz i bought it this way.

So my Brother just bought a 93 legacy N/A non turbo, he wants it to have that "subie" sound, but he also aint got much wiggle room with money. Would just a $50-$70 muffler do it or do you need a full exhaust to achieve the rumble? what mufflers would you guys suggest?

yea i dont want to put much into it, could fuel injectors be a problem? or would that trigger my check engine light?
any preference on spark plugs? and would just a performance air filter give me a few hp back into her?

thanks, and it idles rough, around 500rpm, shakes the whole car and sounds pretty rough. if i slightly touch the gas making it idle around 800 it makes it way better, just little shaking....other then that it runs pretty good, doesnt have the power it did when i first got her about 2 years ago tho...

alright, would it just be the air filter or fuel filter too?

Idk if this is in write forum subject, but my passenger side axle boot is tore all the way around and was wondering how bad that can end up being if not fixed, its been that way already for about 500-1000 miles, and there a quick easy fix?

So my 90 legacy has almost 220k, im replacing my knock sensor today, and i was just curious what are some easy things to do to revive this thing a bit, nothing to major, already has exhuast on it tho....anything somewhat cheap to do just to get a few extra hp and have her run better?

So my knock sensor is going out and of course the check engine light is goin on and off when it wants to, i was wondering if it should be fine to drive another few hundred miles till i can fix it....it shouldnt be messing anything else up or have any other problems should it? its coming on more freq...

so i got an ej22, stock with just exuast....it has 220k on it, but been well takin care of....i wanna turbo it and i know the open deck block wouldnt be best to boost, but couldnt it handle about 7-10psi? Im assuming rebuilding would be in need b4? how much would a turbo kit run me about???? YES IM ...

So ive heard that taking out the a/c frees up a few hp, that true? and in my 90 legacy do all i need to do is take the belt off?

but considering id do my own swap, wouldnt the ej22t be alot easier, if i go with the ej20g wouldnt the wiring be a shit load harder? and more fab work? the ej22t from whet i heard is practically plug and play, just need a few parts like the crossmember and a few sensors and ecu?
