Those gauge lights are sweet. Do you have pics? I'd like to maybe do that to my ride as well.

Yeah, I'd like to see pics of the actual LED's and wiring setup you used.

I pretty much followed this write up, http://sl-i.net/FORUM/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=21431. The only difference is the L.E.D strip I used isn't SMD.
I did think to take some pictures during the installation too, so I got a few.
I'm gonna guess that the positive and negative are in the same place for all first gen. clusters so a simple look at one of my pictures should show where to solder the wires.

Heres a teaser to see if you guys can figures it out.
Monday needs to get here already!!!! Then the big suprise will be unveiled! Keep an eye on this thread later in the day on monday.

Great teaser picture. I know, you are going to swim across that light blue ocean and go to Japan for some cool parts. Or, Scion something.

Oh, I think I figured it out!

Also, I'm freakin doing that LED cluster.
Probably cheaper than replacing all the

I don't have any output shots and I won't be able to get any untill I get a job cause I no longer have insurance on the well lit sedan. Why would I have the insuance dropped from the sedan? Because I have something better!! The big suprise!! What could it be but...........
A '94 turbo wagon!!!!!!! His name is Takamaru.
Got him for 2k with 266500 miles and a rebuilt title from a previous owners accident. Drives fine, boost is awesome, and the PIAA fog lights were a nice bonus. Also, he is totally stock under the hood, down to the thingy that the scoop feeds. And the stero is totally stock, interior is really clean, and everything works as it should. I got a great deal! I already plan on clearing the tail lights, installing a different stero, and clearing the headlights.

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Does your car have ABS? If so, it should have the 1-1/16" bore MC, and "should" be ok. If it doesn't have ABS, you've only got the 1" bore MC, and will benefit from installing a 1-1/16" bore MC. The only non-abs 1-1/16" bore MC is on the SVX. You'll find them around the mid 90's 94-97 or so.SWRT wrote:I ended up doing my front with WRX 2 pots and without changing out the master cylinder the brakes feel a bit spongy. I kinda was. I removed the passenger seatbelt track and got the new one partially installed. I haven't been feeling very well lately so I've been trying to keep the car tinkering to a minimum.SWRT wrote:concretelegacy: Feeling frisky XD
I did receive my air bag and fender today. If I'm feeling up to it I will finish the seatbelt, install the air bag, and jam the fender.

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
I am about to do the drivers side too. I can't believe both belts were bad in my car. The biggest p.i.t.a. was that you should remove the headliner. I just took off the sunvisor and cilp. Then I tugged it down enough to where I could get at the 2 bolts. I had to remove the oh shit handle too. You won't have that problem on the drivers side. I also noticed that the proper way to re-install the assembly is to install the front part of the track (by the windshield) first and then work your way back down to the cable motor.ciper wrote:Any advice for replacing the seatbelt rail? As for me I finished up my belt installation on the passenger side tonight, got the jams painted on my new fender, and tried to install my new airbag. I forgot that the airbag requires a special bit to remove it. And I thought it was just a 10mm.

Re: What did you do to your Subie today?
Swapped some parts from my sedan to my wagon. Swapped the headlights so I can slear the stock ones, swapped the gauge clusters so I can keep usint the L.E.D one and I left the proper speedo in each car, swapped my L.E.D domelight bulb, swapped wheels and tires as I didn't wanna run around on studless snow tires, and swapped the rear defrost and cruise control switches since the lights were burnt out in the wagon. Eventually I'll be clearing the tail lights too.

had the right master cylinder up at Autozone, but they
weren't sure. It was $70 though
