Had to have the Impreza towed home for the 3rd time in two months. Only one more tow on my AAA until next April. Bought some new rims and wheel adapters. Getting ready to remove the 6" lift from the legacy and sell it.

Oh yeah... I moved to Puyallup last weekend so now I'll have to meet up with all you Pierce County kids.

Thanks to a dremel tool, I got my hub slotted to fit the kartboy 2-pot adaptors. Oh, and I got the internet at my new place, finally!

So are the Kartboy adapters not machined properly for our hubs?

On the 1st and 2nd gen hubs I've used them with, I've had to slot one hole each time. I talked to Kartboy and they said something along the lines of the older hubs not having a consistent shape to them.

Replaced rear hub and threw in "new" rear axles to match the 4.44 diff on the Impreza.

pulled the oil pump/water pump and pistons from my extra shortblock *cough* moneypit *cough* and finally getting around to really tearing it down to check things out, have someone more skilled than me go through my bottom end and check things out.

maybe look for a crankshaft and extra oil squirters in the meantime..

Weird thing is I checked it two months ago and the dipstick DID NOT show this, good thing we got it before the tranny fudged but I believe it will only last a couple more months.

Any opinions on which auto tranny I should be looking to replace on a budget? Cant decide between the 4.11 or the 4.44 and which years/phases will bolt right up. I've heard I just need the rear matching axles?

-Put t-bolt hose clamps everywhere for my front mount. Also my coolant decided to give up on me so luckily had a wrx tank for a backup so put that in, finish it up tomorrow.

Those things fit really nice in that location! It's too bad I MUST keep the A/C. It's just too freaking hot and humid to do away with it.

Put the second amp in my wagon and got my friends new to him 93 l wagon to my place for some work on the auto. Everything about his wagon is great, other than the slipping auto.

Made a half assed air intake pipe that gets fed by the fog light hole on my wagon and put mud flaps on my friends wagon along with fixing all the dash lights. Tomorrow we swap transmissions.
