PREPARE FOR PHOTOS!

Discovered that my low fuel light works! I'm guessing it comes on when you have two gallons left because I drove to the gas station with it on for a bit and filled up 14.1gal and we have a 15.8gal tank I believe. Also took her on a road trip to Tarryall Reservoir, Colorado.

Replaced all four struts and mounts on my 93 wagon with KYB G2's, plus replaced a broken headlight and turn signal.

-I've only seen my gas light come on once in over 5 years I've owned the car and that was only because I was low on fuel and on an incline on a driveway. Never seen it since.

Killed it, somehow. Died while idling, wouldn't start backup. Has two codes for MAP and IAC but I think those are stored. I really hope its the fuel pump.

Installed my flywheel and clutch. I really wish I had just followed the FSM instead of winging it, then I may have realized you have to remove the clutch fork pivot shaft and take the fork out of the release bearing before the trans will come out

Edit: I really want to switch to the '06+ push style turbo trans now.

Installed a new torque converter seal today and put the engine in. I was in such a rush to pull the engine I had completely forgotten about removing the torque converter and damaged the seal when pulling the engine, also made for one hell of a mess with stinky atf every where. BTW I absolutely hate auto trannys! I'm so pissed I'm putting this back together w/ the auto. 5speed soon!

No you don't. I had my clutch fork crack at the pivot last year which was not fun to replace. It's pretty common on the newer WRX.

Also you can detach the throwout bearing from the pressure plate with a long screwdriver instead of pulling the pin.

Turbo front end conversion. Plastidipped my hood, painted the front bumper, license plate hard-delete, custom front grill(inspired by the newer forester grill look) and blacked my lights and corners.

I tried this, there was no way a screw driver would fit in there at the angle we needed. But after the first try its cake undoing the fork in the future.

Did you buy the 4.44 tranny that had been for sale forever on nasioc? Considering the parts and labor put into it, that was a steal!

Over the last month ive done all this.
I installed coil overs.
New catless TBE straight pipe.
Did a compression test.
Throttle body coolant bypass.
Installed a different maf.
Cleaned that maf.
Cleaned the iacv.
Installed td04/tmic..

Next up is water pump and timing belt and a few seals.
Then I have a five speed swap that needs to be done.
And the last thing I have on my to do list is pick up these headlight housings my buddy has. And clear the lenses, paint the housing black and then retro fit them.
