Drove the 91 yesterday after it had been sitting since august when I bought it. Drove it to try and get that lifter some oil, no go... Guess I'll buy some later.

Gave the 91 a bath for the first time today. It'll make its way to the car lot as soon as im comfortable that everything is in good standing.

Did my shifter bushings. Ungodly pain in the ass (I wound up dropping the trans mount while the trans was on a jack stand), but soooooooooooo worth it! Took a while to get used to having a dogleg 3rd gear movement, as oppossed to just pushing in a kinda centerish direction in a straight line.

Spent several hours spring cleaning my garage and 20 mins working on the subaru. Got it jacked up on stands and both wheels off. Removed driver's side knuckle and I'm ready to press out the bearing and replace it and then its on to the passenger side.

Changed the bulbs in the high stop lamp (4th Brake light). A lot easier to get to than I was expecting, which was a nice surprise.

Also re-balanced the front passenger wheel. Apparently when she got in the wreck in February, my friend also managed to curb the wheel and knock off a balancer.

Installed a fmic and td04 on the SS. Slightly bummed about hacking my bumper support. In the future when I have more time, I think I want to relocate the fmic where the a/c condenser would sit. I also started learning some tig welding, pretty excited to have access to a tig setup finally. Lots of good things to come from it.

Started hacking my exhaust, to make it fit better. Relocated the extension from between the midpipe and catback, to right behind the muffler, also gonna get my hangers relocated. Should result in much better fitment going under my differential.

The paint job itself was about $700 but I had another $700 in prep charges (had to strip a couple pieces bare and repair some quarter panel rust).

I could have easily racked up another $1000 in bodywork tp fix all the dents and such but couldn't justify it.

I just didn't want the body to rust away to nothing around a perfectly good ej22t

Good deal. It looks good.

I completed my five speed swap from hell last night. And for some reason only God knows I put the fuckin shift interlock back in and got my key stuck in the ignition. So i searched and searched till I found a thread about it. Only difference was he didnt put his car in park or neutral before removing it. so it shows there is a super incognito button in the steering column that releases the key. So i pushed that amd havnt had an issue.. I just need to pun the ecu and what not. I can then remove the gear selector from the engine bay and have my reverse lights. It also wants to die at idle, so I'm hoping finishing the wiring will fix all that.

Yeah, finish the wiring before you try to start/run the car. That should take care of the issues.
