The valve is screwed into the manifold at that spot. That's what the hose is attached to. I don't think plugging it is a good idea. The PCV system would not function correctly and it would probably run like crap, if at all.

Well, it also looks like it prevents a rich mixture during blowoff as well which everybody seems to have a problem with.

Anybody seen this? Was cruising the web and thought this was interesting. Looks like it stabilizes idle with atmos. BOVs.

I'm not sure if anybody's seen Initial D here, but they actually talk about this in the series and an EVO has something similar equipped. They refer to it as mis-firing system though. Not sure but it sounds the same as ALS.
