The valve is screwed into the manifold at that spot. That's what the hose is attached to. I don't think plugging it is a good idea. The PCV system would not function correctly and it would probably run like crap, if at all.

Yeah. It seems popular in the DSM crowd. It also comes packaged in the Super AFR from HKS.

Well, it also looks like it prevents a rich mixture during blowoff as well which everybody seems to have a problem with.

HKS EIDS

Anybody seen this? Was cruising the web and thought this was interesting. Looks like it stabilizes idle with atmos. BOVs.

I definitely agree with BAC5.2. There are better alternatives out there. But the Sentra was definitely not made for a straight line. It handles way better than it goes down the 1/4. I have an 02 which was subject to the horrible 1st and 2nd gear ratios which have since been changed. But i got mine f...

I own a SE-R Spec V and it responds to mods pretty well. I have an intake and exhaust as well as a shifter and motor mounts and it is excellent in the twisties. It has wicked low end torque. With the bolt ons available (intake, header, exhaust, etc) you can seee around 200HP at the wheels. Not bad f...

I was watching Initial D when I joined this forum so you can kind of guess where my name came from  Not wanting to be a complete fanboy I figured I would pick an obscure character as a name. Matsumoto is Fujiwara's mechanic for the 86 in 4th stage.

TPS problems: Did ja get the memo? Ha! I feel like I'm in the club now  Ouch! These things are pricey. :( I will definitely try and measure the voltage coming back to the ECU. Thanks for the advice. The only reason I don't think it's mechanical is that when I try and close it more by hand the ...

I'm sure we tested the right pins. I also tried the TPS from the old TB and it had the same readings. I guess it's possible that both are bad. What's does one of those run from the stealership? We also broke the plastic PCV connector between the valve covers so I can't really test much until that co...

TPS problems

I was having troubles with idle in my SS. The throttle body that was on there when I bought it was painted black and the stop screw on the top looked like it was messed with. So I swap out throttle bodies and now the throttle is acting crazy. When you touch the gas it shoots up to like 4k and stays ...

I'm not sure if anybody's seen Initial D here, but they actually talk about this in the series and an EVO has something similar equipped. They refer to it as mis-firing system though. Not sure but it sounds the same as ALS.

Just thought that was kinda cool.

Yes it is a manual. I did see that in some of those threads. I live in New engaland so the climate is always changing.

You said 75W-90NS is good for the tranny and rear diff. Not the front? Or is the front part of the transmission? I am new to AWD.

Oils for drivetrain

Hi, I am a new 93 SS owner and am looking to change the fluids in my drivetrain. I have searched and read most if not all the threads on this topic but still haven't got a clear answer. Basically my question is, is it safe to use Redline 75W-90NS all around? Sorry if this is a n00b question but I am...
