Re: FS: USDM WRX 2.0l short block. EJ-205

Someone relieve me of this EJ205. I wonder if I can get over 9000 aluminum soft drink cans from it.

Re: FS: USDM WRX 2.0l short block. EJ-205

If he doesn't want it, I may be interested. Let me know if he wants it or not and how much you're looking to get. How come it's torn down to the block? History? It is torn down to the block to save weight. JDM style, yo! No, it is a block I purchased almost 4 years ago to put into one of my GC clas...

I can easilly email you raw, high res photos of the turbo if you want to see the hot side for cracks and whatnot. Not gonna post photos beca...

FS: USDM WRX 2.0l short block. EJ-205

I am gathering interest in a mint condition USDM WRX 2.0l short block with NO heads. Comes with water pump, oil pump, and oil pan. It has up to 25k on it in total. I don't have photos at the moment but if you are interested in it, you already know what it is. Crosshatching looks beautiful and was cl...

FS: GC scoops, VF-11, intake manifold, heads...

First up , a set of hood scoops from an OBS. They were repainted a while ago I was told. One of the smaller scoops has a the slightest black smudge near a side. Like what a shoe would leave. It may come off, can barely see. Best offer. adds 20 HP ( JDM, yo !) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v467/...

WTB: Need badly! Drivers side fender and headlight. 1993 Leg

Need the drivers side headlight, turn signal, and fender. The color is white (230?.)

I also want one of those crappy 2 den CD changer units or a cheap CD unit with faceplate.

Anyone in the Puget Sound region please respond.

WTT: 1998 Impreza L alloys+tires for snow tires. ASAP!

Here is my listing on CraigsList. (THEY ARE RIMS MOUNTED ON TIRED+ CENTER CAPS) I'm far too broke to purchase some snow tires, have 1 too many sets of rims, and need some snow tires. If ANYONE has a spare set please consider trading me. Just need something I can run this winter on a 1998 Impreza L....

Ok, I see now. I know you guys get iritaded and I did search and have seen the answers but I just wanted to know if they are different lengths and if so, would it affect it too much. I will indeed get new head bolts.

Good day.

Reusing head bolts?

I have some 9x turbo Legacy head bolts I want to throw into my EJ205 block with EJ22T heads.

First off, will these bolts even work in the WRX block, if so can I re-use them? If not, can I stagger new and old bolts as in new-old-new?

What would you guys do?

I'm in a situation right now. Tomorrow I can go pick up the head bolts and gaskets and swap in an EJ20 (usdm WRX) block with Legacy Turbo EJ22 heads running on the 1.8L ECU and run it in N/A trim for a while or keep in the EJ18 for a while in N/A trim. It supposedly has lower C.R. then the 1.8 but i...

WTB: Turbo tubing parts

I'm not going to make any more threads about what I need and I'm not going to go out and buy endless silicon tubing when I don't know what diameter, length, how many, and even what tube goes where so If anyone preferably near Seattle has these tubings on the cheap, please let me know. I'm mostly tal...

Roger that on the wideband. So can I run a SAFC NEO rich for a few weeks and then use a wideband to tune it up along with a small intercooler and 92 or so octane fuel and reliably get back between work and school?

What one will prevent knock and lean/rich situations?

Given that knock/rick/lean/DETONATION!!1! will murder the engine I need to know if a SAFC II will prevent the above. I know a Greddy Emanage will but I've seen SAFCIIs for less and since I'm only set up for 7PSI I want to know if a SAFC II will work. Also, would I need a RRFPR with a SAFC II or not?...

Are you using the trans from the 1.8L?
Yes, I'd be using the stock tranny for now. I just don't want it to break and with my current situation the stock 2.5RS replacements look good to me.

What clutch?

Here is my deal, I'm getting a 2.5 flywheel (from some? Subaru) and I need a clutch to mate to it. As some of you may already know I'm throwing in an EJ205 with EJ22T heads and a VF11 turbo RUNNING AT STOCK PSI into a 94 Impreza 1.8L AWD. I'm fairly mean on my transmission but I don't launch it. Sin...
