no luck, but i did find out that the u joints arent replaceable and i need to replace either the driveshaft section or the whole damn thing. cant belive it took me two weeks to find THAT out. so irecently went and looked at a driveshaft from a 90 legacy and found that it only has two u-joints where ...

i removed my driveshaft and the rear most u joint doesnt move as smoothly as the other two.

seems like a u-joint on mine.

so that means that if i got a rear section of a driveshaft from a 90 n/a 5 speed it would fit into my 92 n/a 5 speed, no fuss no muss.

i hope cause its the only option ive found to get my problems taken care of.

checked all the salvage lots already. i think ill just call napa and the dealer. i dont have a way or the time to order them online.

the universal joints on the driveshaft. theres three of them. one of them on your car is no good as well as mine.

im having this same exact problem. it seems to be coming from the rear. i just changed my rear diff fluid and the front tranny and diff fluid was changed a couple months ago. the only thing i can come up with is one of the U-joints is going out, but i dont know which one.
