Re: EJ 22T no start, help needed.

Will jumped timing cause a no spark condition? Im starting to lean towards that, because i replaced the cam position sensor and it still shows up on the CEL codes after i cleared them.

I went to start the car saturday night, and i heard a single click from under the hood, but the started would not engage. So i tried turning the key a few more times, and just still a singl...

Curb Whoops

So a few nights ago i was driving to the gym and went to make the right hand turn to the entrance and lost grip (my fault for going too fast for the road conditions) and smacked into a few small xmas trees and ran into and over a tall curb and got high centered. Well i didnt feel like waiting around...

Cold Highway operating temp

the past two trips i have made with the car(94 SS 4EAT) it has been cold outside, under 25 deg. F. So i go out and start the car up and at idle it comes up to temperature (half way on the gauge) like it should and the heater blows hot air. But as soon as i hit the freeway and increased speed brings ...

Vented Rotors

Last week i had a horrible screeching grinding noise coming from the back of the car when under braking pressure, so i just assumed my pads were worn. WEll i took the car into the local sube shop, and it turned out that it had the wrong rotors on there, (NA rotors) and that when the pads wore down t...

So i knocked it out bu...

WEll its 7 pm and im off to start the install. how far ya think i'll get before i make it back around m...

i just dont see how this is going to work. THe adapter flange is much much larger fitting that what the BPV does. it would seem to me that a intermediate hose would be way too small on one end and too big on the BPV side. Also, does everyone elses' 06-07 wrx TMIC have the sloped black pastic top to ...

blackbart, looking for the mechanism ( i think its a pressure sensor) that sits on the inside of the passenger side fender in the engine bay. It has a few vacum lines and one runs to the turbo silencer. This sensor is the one that is directly above the boost control solenoid. Price shipped to 26623....

Exactly, but if the air is recirced back into the intake then the ECU actually doesnt even know it went a different path and should give a steady air/fuel mixture. So, anybody know for sure what style of BOV to use, so that it doesnt hit the cruise and throttle cables? Also, for the stock vf-11 turb...

TMIC BOV questions.

SO from what i've seen most ppl. on here try and retain their stock BPV when upgragiding to a top mount intercooler. OTher than the extra cost issue, if you have an aftermarket BOV that is properly recirculated are there any more problems associated with using an aftermarket BOV dump. Also, for thos...
