Replied back to you via BC-BF...

Just thinking but is anything between the ecu (Pin 11 or 13 which ever the #3 pin is) and the injector besides some wire and a couple of plugs? Could I possibly just re run that wire direct from the ecu to the injector to ensure there are no shorts in that wire?

Last Ditch Effort Before I Say "Screw it"/Rough Ru

I will spare you all the other stuff that I have tried and didn't help. First the car: 1992 Legacy Sport Sedan 2.2l Turbo , engine completely stock. Now my girlfriends, she is driving my winter beater and I want it back. Next the Problem: Rough running, no power, bucking when gassed, won't rev past ...

Hey Josh. Thanks for the link. Yes I have unplugged the connector and it didn't change a thing. Also I already replaced the coolant temp sensor/ ignitor/ coil/ plugs/ and wires to make sure it wasnt an ignition issue and I have spark to all 4 cyls (thought it might have been in the ignition because ...

Injector Wiring/document request.

I am going to try to go though this quickly. I used to own a 1992 Turbo Legacy Sedan for 5 years worked great and never left me stranded. Sold it to my girlfriend and after about 6 months of driving, it stops running like a top. Rough idle, no power, occasional extreme lean once the motor warms up. ...

bac - sounds like a plan, if you happen to have the link to the scantool buildup I would appreciate it otherwise I can search. azn - are you talking about the injector harness that you replaced or a different set of wires(i.e. plug wires, ect) if it was the harness where did you get them from? Did i...

Sleeper- I replaced the alternator probably 2 or 3 months before that, I suppose that could cause a problem but my voltmeter(autometer wired to a ignition switched fuse) is at 12 when off and around 14 when on. vrg- yeah no trouble code, I didn't check cold and warm and I didn't run 12v through it (...

Another note I'm told she filled up at Holiday Gas Station with 93 octane on Monday morning. And she did tighten the fuel cap until it clicked multiple times.

Rough idle/no power/ whats wrong? - Son of a @#$%#

Hey Guys- Its been a while since I have been on this board. I sold my 92 Subaru Turbo Sedan to my girlfriend about a year and a half ago and bought an Turbo Audi... During that time I have had a wheel bearing, a dead instrument panel, and a bad ignition control module in the Audi, and not a single p...

Will an AC Compressor from a 99 legacy fit my 92 turbo?

Pretty straight forward... Im curious if it would fit, and would I have to switch to the new type of coolant becuase of the new compressor or is it even possible to bring it to a shop and have them recharge it with the old type after I switch them?

Thanks

Just a clairification with the 92 tail lights they still use a clear bulb but have an orange insert behind the clear portion of the lens snaps in kinda like a lego peice so it should be easy removal if the housings are not on the car.

One issue I can think of with the LED lights... Since LEDs are quite directional and it looks like those bulbs are placed in a parallel array facing the back (or front) of the bulb that is where most of the light is going to be directed. Now I'm not sure of the 90-91 cars but on my 92 sedan the 1157...

Eibachs if you can find them should be good too. Been running the AGX and Eibachs for about 2 years and havent had a problem. They lower around 1" also.

Yeah, the Nokians are a good tire, my mom runs them on her Audi 5000 up where it does drop the snow but I have found that they do not provide the side stiffness that I desire resulting in a bouncy driving on a cloud type ride. So agian, I decided on a set of Bridgestone Potenzas. The 950s price of 1...

Need new front brakes couple of questions

Hey all... It appears that my front brakes are in need of replacement (pads and rotors) and am interested in the WRX upgrade that Dave and Josh have done. I however have a couple of questions... 1: With the turbo brakes currently on there in order to do the conversion all I need are the new rotors a...

Hmmm, I think perhaps I phrased my question wrong... I have no doubt that the Ecsta 712's are a great tire, but I will need some snow traction. Residing in southern Minnesota with frequent trips to the Duluth/Superior area reuires me to drive on highways that are usually well maintained in the winte...

Need new tires

Hey all!!! I am currently looking to replace my worn Potenza RE 910s with an all season radial (size 205-55R16) for use on my present rims. Most likely getting new "summer" rims and tires in the near future, so high speed performance is not needed. Would like to get winter only tires excep...

I know this has been discussed before but please refresh my memory.

Does anyone know if the 2.5 glass bumper would fit a 92 or are the mounting points different for the 91/92 switch?

Thanks! They are the pro kit eibachs if memory serves me right approx 1 to 1.5 inch drop. I got them from Mike at spdusa.com but it appears that they have discontinued all Legacy support. As far as handling goes with new factory endlinks I can say its nimble for a 3000 lb car. The jury is still out ...
