4eat here....ciper i did the test you told me to in my tread and the front wheel spins while the other does not...is this the same instructions for a 4eat as well??

havin the same issue except mine usdm and and stock....just started the other day...i can do 6k burnouts in 4wd hardly moving....again just the front wheels spinning...sorry for the hijack!!

So yesterday i went snowboarding up at mt hood and of coarse i had to play around in the subie...towards the end of the drift session she started getting stuck in about 6 inches of snow...got unstuck and started heading down the mt when the car starts pushing real bad in corners...then almost sendin...

they didnt list it as a SS...just told me they had a few legacys....

complete motor, tranny, harness....not sure if they will sell u the whole car.....has a crashed ft, no ft bumper, rad., ign. pack or driver side fender...hood is good w/ scoop, body is fairly straight with a good amound of small dings, i believe all the glass was good(not sure)! I wanna say i saw it...

so it turns out it was my HLA's!!! yaaay...way easier...replaced it with an HLA assembly at the junk yard....hasnt made a sound since!!! thowin a code tho...comes and goes...mostly comes (thats what she said...sorry) doesnt seem to run different tho!

well thats good.....was the timing belt pretty straight forward???...i gotta do mine pretty soon!

yea...this sounds like air...air gets trapped and likes to stay in your heater core...get the bleeder bucket and put it on the rad. cold...warm up and wait for the bubbles to stop.....did this in a jeep and it took a good 45 mins to get all the air out....besides air tends to make temp fluctuate up ...

do it yourself....i would look thru ur inspection hole on the tranny...ive had a fexplate break and its poo poo!!! stick a screw driver tru the hole and try to move your flexpate around...no movement, probly somethin else!

Never mind...i read and i found....amazing how that works...haha!!!...is there write up on this....seems like alot of people have the close to the same problem with their HLA's.....

sorry guys...valve train is new to me...how do you bleed them?

Interesting....Now for the high jack... I believe that my 94 ls has developed the same problem....i just got a rocker arm assembly from the junk yard....now just to clear up some newbness...are the HL portion on the rockers supposed to be easy or impossible to press in by hand???...2 of my orig. HLA...

question...will a 97 outback motor bolt up??? not even sure what motor is in those but i just saw an ad on CL for 200 bucks...come with all the goodies! would it just be worth my time to replace it!

well im pullin the motor today...in the rain..yaaaay! im not positive its the rod bearings just because i havent pulled it apart yet...im going to look into the lifter tho...how do i check for that???

man...ive pulled and replaced 3 jeep motors in the past couple weeks...not lookin forward to pulling another...at least its a subaru...so no way to do it underneath?

so yesterday i bought another Leg...94 ls 4wd at....was rallying around my hood (haha)..and i believe i f***ed up a rod bearing...clickin pretty good w/ 260k stock!! anyways i was just wanting to know what the torque specs/sequence was for them...goin to get the 52mm and i wouldnt think the crank ne...

say it meters above or below 12v...what would you check next???

well ive done the whole tune up deal and i cant get this thing to run right....it seems like cyl 2 is not firing....or not firing well. first i switched injectors maybe seeing if it was the injectors...not the problem as the issue was on the same cylinder. so today i called in sick and am gunna see ...

ok...got the replacement plate from the stealership today...its definately thicker than the one that came off my car. install tomorrow!!!

yea i think the way i had to weld it, it was not really that balanced...had to fill a couple of shards that were missing! man why did they make these things so chincy...is there any stronger replacements?
