Coolant drain plugs

Does anyone know right off hand what size hex wrench I'll need to get the drain plugs out?

From what you said it sounds like one or more of your spark plug wires were bad. You're getting better combustion now so maybe your getting some knock or maybe your O2 sensor is seeing new concentrations. What octane do you use?

Yes, I am talking primarily about drag racing but also stock cars, monster trucks and street cars. Maybe the 4eat isn't the greatest but some auto trannies weigh less and have lower rotating mass. You think auto LSD is understeery, maybe so I guess?

Wow, that's ridiculous. I don't think most first offenders get that harsh a treatment. Did she have priors?

I'm no expert but you don't find a lot of manual racing machines at the track. Of course, most high hp autos only have one or two gears. Auto LSD seems to me to be prefferable to 5mt shifting unless you're talking about serviceability.

Head Gasket

I was wondering how often people hear of head gaskets blowing out on ej22t's? Is a hard or expensive fix?

Really, I didn't expect that answer. I'm not saying I don't believe what everyone is saying but it seems like somthing that should be done if it can. I don't believe I'll try it from the sounds of it but it would be cool to know more.

What do you mean by 'used to'? If you mean urban or rural I would just say somewhere in between. Maybe I should check it out for a couple weeks.

Changing the filter screen

Does a routine changing of the tranny screen and fluid make any difference in operating performance? I've been told it's wise to do.

To anyone living in Canada:

What's the best place to live there? Is it easy for a non-citizen to set up a place to live and get a job?
