pardon my ignorance/stupidity  , but what is open/closed deck? does that refer to the bottom of the block being directly open to the crank :? ??? (no idea on that) over here price is pretty much an indication of quality (as it is everywhere i spose) so as i said for AUD$2600 with only 50,000km...

i got all of the listings of three different webpages (cept the STi frontcut, $4k with box) so i dunno what year... it'd have to be pretty ruff for $2600 and only 50-thou on the clock.

yeh i sorta thought that. but if i were to get the STi cut i'd be spending $1200 over the legacy and not gettin a box. thats a fair crack of the whip once its in the car. but 1200 squid still isnt goin to cover suspension let alone engine mods. remember... these are lowly australian squid :D p.s fou...

WRX STi Suspension Compatability?

I retract my previous posts. i think this just bout sums it up... I can see the merits of an auto but my personal choice would be a manual. (sorry bout the multiple posts. got a little bit worked up & kept thinkin of new stuff :D ) and yes there are certain things which you learn in an auto whic...

autos are for traffic and old people. drag racing should be manual so maybe a little thing such as driver skill would come into the equation.

I also feel that too many of you base your opinion about automatics from what others tell you and from some piece of crap car you drove when you where in high school. I base my opinions on 2004 pseudo-manual autos ('04 accord euro & '04 volvo turbo awd) and i still beg to get taken manual drivi...

wooo hooo. drag racing. you know those cars that go round corners.... the really fast ones that dont just go in a sraight line and the driver needs control over the engine aswell as steering... what are they called? ahhh yes, racing cars. all manuals (cept for select, read rare/bizarre, race teams)....
