890cc SR20 DeatschWerks Injectors, rails w/ adapters
For sale is a set of 890cc SR20 DeatschWerks Injectors in EJ25D rails with three Outfront Motorsports adapters. The FPR end of the right rail was tapped for 1/4 NPT as you can see. A factory FPR will not work anymore. I would not run this size of injectors with the factory series setup anyways. One ...

^ Did she drive a car? If so, then her windshield had gallons of blood on its hands. At the end of the day, bin Laden declared war on our country. The nature that enemy means eliminating it. End of story. We should make no apologies for going in and killing him, even if he was unarmed. I feel our ad...

Re: EJ25D head - coolant plug?
Just plug it. The plug size is M16 x 1.50 Any idea on where to find a plug? My usual sources are dry. Fastenal and McMaster-Carr have nothing that works. I would like something with a flange for a copper or aluminum washer. Even a bolt that I could cut off would work. If all else fails, I could dri...

Re: TLeg 4EAT Mods
Hey Chux, The SS transmission is built to a higher spec than the N/A units, but at 270 CHP, you would be on borrowed time. At the least, I would recommend the reprogramming kit from Tans-Go. As for the higher stall converter, things are availible. The original unit can be modified by places that reb...

hey dan, phil provided a harness to go with the ecu. so it was originally fully plug and play. a year+ later....between lag from the tuner and other issues, car still doesn't run. not sure if the triggers were wired correctly as well as the reversed tps signal. i'll have to ask Phil on that. he's g...

FYI, a failing O2 sensor can cause the ECU to run really rich and you have over-rich mis-fires. I fooled around with that for a few months.

The really cheap version is to wrap the wire in fiberglass and cover that with aluminum tape. Works the same.

Re: anyone running a 2.6 hydra on stock ej22t motor?
Derek ran the Hydra 2.6 just fine. Did you wire it in yourself or buy a jumper harness, even though I doubt Phil could make that happen. Make sure the triggers are wired correctly(cam and crank angle sensors). Black is the signal..... Did you take care of the reverse TPS signal? Switch the signal an...

Without a jig, you can be assured to not weld it up straight. Besides, the poly ones probably aren't even necessary. Mine probably weren't. I would worry more about the mounts themselves, among other things.

Man I wouldn't know where to look for one of those places lol. What's pirtek? I know my lines are pretty kinked and my power steering is nonexistant basically. It would be really nice to have flexible lines like yours look to be. The problem is with the DOHC heads they're bigger than the SOHC heads...

Re: EJ25D head - coolant plug?
Do you have the ability to weld aluminum? Even if so I would still tap the feed then plug itwhile the block is out. You never know if your gonna need that for something down the road. I have access to a couple TIG welders, but not at home. However, I did already tap the other head for coolant, sinc...

Thanks for the pic, wtdash. That makes perfect sense as to why it is open. Also, _TT_, thanks for the thread size. I would have had to dig through boxes of bolts to find something to match. LOL Jeremy. Great pics. kimokalihi, the power steering lines are put together using Aeroquip hose and fittings, along with the adapter fittings from Earls. Re: BURN OIL?
Correct Steve. It burns oil, leaks oil, and possibly converts it into antihorsepower, but I haven't proven that yet. Synthetic is nice for long oil changes, and extreme conditions since it holds its viscosity better at the extremes. However, the engines I've disassembled were all ran on dino oil and...

Re: EJ22t Hybrid attempt...want somewhere around 350+ hp
After fooling around with these cars for the better part of a decade, spending a lot, and wasting a fair amount in the process, I'd have to say I agree with Jeremy (Deride). Picking away at the mods to retain the old system is very expensive. If you buy a totaled car, you can convert the entire car ...
