David funny you should use the pic of my set up. I am using a vent to atmoshpere, but with the right spring pressure you do not get any venting at idle. My car idles perfect, and I have no backfires when I get off the throttle. One thing though is my leg is an auto so I'm not constantly haveing to h...

I have it on my Saab IC too, I figure its a drain plug for all that oil that gets pumped back into the intake if you haven't by-passed the oil lines that are plumbed back into the intake to vent the valve covers. I know when I unplugged mine I had a nice bit of gooey sludge ooze out.

Well I know everyone is usually on a budget when it comes to modding a 10+ year old car. I have a shop locally that has been making mandrel bent exhaust systems for all kinds of custom cars for a long time. He has pricing on the WRX turbo back systems and I'm sure the legacy systems would cost the s...

I have been contemplating getting one of these saab ic's for a week now. What is the maximum boost possible withone of these units? I know someone already has one of these on. Mike The Miata crowd has been using this IC with real good results for quite some time. You should have no problems with it.

I will ask the owner of the shop what he would charge to make the pipes, just remember with these types of custom jobs you always have to t...

georryan with water cooled turbos you rarely see oil temps high enough to warrant the use of a turbo timer. The water passages in the turbo help prevent getting oil to a coking temprature. Many peoplr who use a turbo timer are using it because they think its cool to leave the car running, but unless...

Looks like a good list to me. I would add that if your looking for bang for the buck, you can go Saab IC ~$40, MBC homemade grainger valve ~$10, Autometer EGT and Boost gauges ~$150. At 10-11 psi your under fuel cut and have about 200 crank hp. I'm not sure how much a better exhaust helps the Legacy...

Car bra question?

Does anyone know a manufacturer that makes a car bra for the 92-94 Legacy Turbo. I have found listings for the Legay but nothing for the Turbo Model. Any help would be great!
