i'm getting an anoying rumble between 35-45 mph. i've done some checking and found a slightly binding u-joint @ the rear diff yoke. the joints appear to be permanently installed by a special press. anyone find another source besides a salvage yard for the back half of the driveshaft? btw its a 92 5m...

would there be problems with removing the driveshaft between the carrier and the rear diff? would this lessen the summertime wear on my viscious coupler(5mt awd)? help gas mileage?
