I've given up. Ripping the engine out this weekend. I've got an STi V4 engine sitting here so I'll drop that in for now and wire it up with one of my standalones.

Codes 11 and 13
My car started throwing a code 11. It runs like a bag of crap, if you give it any amount of gas it dies. Idle is stuck at 3000 RPM. Previous owners have rewired it and it's a mess. It's also my beater so I'm hoping to make it through the winter.

Here is a solution... Get a wideband that has a narrowband output with a remapping function. Then remap the narrowband output so it switches over around 15.1:1 instead of 14.7. This should allow the factory ECU to trim out on the lean side during cruise. I generally tune turbo hondas to be a tad ...

Before a million internet parrots tell you to change the gasket realise this... If it's an MLS gasket it's not uncommon to re-use the gasket anyway. It's very common to double torque head bolts on performance engines anyway. I've done it dozens of times with 0 issues. I've never re-used a gasket but ...

WTB spare cam sensor?
My car is throwing a code 13 and runs like a can of crap. I'm going to see if I can retrofit a sensor from one of my other subie engines. Failing that does anyone have a spare cam sensor they'd like to sell?

Code 45... Pressure Sensor Duty
I'm getting a code 45.
45 Pressure Sensor Duty Solenoid (Turbo Models)
I wonder if this is the boost solenoid they're talking about. Ring a bell with anyone?

Just wanted to provide an update on this issue for anyone with the same problem. I've solved the issue. It was an intermitant CLT failure. The sensor would read properly but if you shook it the resistance would jump to infinite. Obviously the sensor element has worked its way loose inside. So when I ...

People like to piss on the EJ25 as being a weak motor. I've successfully tuned them to 15 PSI and they've run for years without a problem. A lot of it is in the tuning. I certainly don't recommend cranking them that high but it is quite possible. If you pull out the innards and look at them they're ...

No power windows...
My car has been parked while I worked on obtaining an STi engine. Now I'm going to run it until the EJ22 finally dies then swap in the EJ20K. When I pulled it out of the snowbank and into the shop I've found that none of the power windows work. I haven't been able to locate any fuse for that and one ...

I did some datalogging today. Seems that the O2 is only part of the problem. I'm beginning to suspect it's got a weak ground on the MAF.
When idling it will be sending 1.25v and running about 10:1. Then it starts leaning out as if the O2 correction is kicking in but the MAF voltage is dropping. It ...

I'm not sure about the MAF being in good shape or not but I hooked my wideband's NB output up so the ECU thought it had an O2 hooked up. After a few minutes the AFR has reached the 12.5:1 area and I believe it may climb as time passes.
