I might be able to get a few pictures for you people soon. Mine is probably different because I live in New Zealand and my car was imported from Japan originaly. Some of the differences also may be to do with how the steering wheel is on the other said and stuff but yeah I dunno.

Thanks. The problem seems to have fixed itself :? I've seen people saying on this board saying that adding a cone filter will reduce HP and you wont gain anything. But in my experience with this It feels like the throttle is definately more responsive and maybe theres a bit more power there aswell. ...

De-snorkal a NA car?

Is it a good idea to De-snorkal a NA Legacy? also, will I notice any difference in sound?(I would like some intake noise ;-) ) And is there anyway I could make the intake noise more louder aswell?

Also, would it be such a bad idea to add a pod filter instead?

Thanks

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but how does this work exactly? I can understand everything except how you open the valve.

Thanks.

Is adding a new muffler likely to reduce power?

Is adding a new muffler with 3.5 inch outlet likely to reduce the power of my car? I have a 94 legacy with an EJ20 engine. If so, by how much?

Thanks.

I believe the engine int he car is the original, it was imported from Japan and is in New Zealand where I live currently. I'm not quite sure what you were talking about with the indentations as I dont know much about engines, but I am certain the engine is an ej20 as on the engine itself it says ej2...

How would I know if my engine is DOHC or SOHC?

How would I know if the engine in my 1994 Legacy Sedan is Dohc or Sohc?

Is there like something I could have a look at it? I think the engine is an ej20.

Thanks.
