Garage sale, 3 week special.
I have a large assortment of EJ22T parts left over from a bunch of engine builds. ALL parts are in good shape and OBO + shipping. If they don't sell, they will go the scrap yard because I am moving. Pics available upon request. 7 good pistons (8th was good but I gave it to a kid) 1 set of stock rods...

Garage sale: STi, EJ25D, EJ22T goodies
My Legacy GT shut down and I have to cash in my man card and take her to the dealership to get fixed. I have to fund it because I am sure it is going to be very costly (fried ECU's, bad harness, possibly bad engine). So, I am selling all the stuff I have been collecting for my turbo engine build. I ...

One 90 degree bend is all you need along with some form of Subaru downpipe is all you need to make a DP for a rotated setup. Its pretty much the same for the up pipe. If you can find someone that is decent at welding, all you need is an angle grinder, some cutoff wheels, and time. Well if it is jus...

Why not just make your own rotated kit with the factory subaru turbo? Extend your uppipe or fab one up to relocate your turbo. The uppipe is not the problem, that is easy, it is the down pipe I am not sure about. Besides, by the time I buy the welder, learn to weld, the tube bender to bend exhaust ...

It is in a VERY tight spot, and plus the inlet with the constriction caused from being smashed against the inatke manifold is only 1/2 the size of the turbo intake its selfBinford wrote:How about just putting a hose clamp on the hose where its sucking closed? It helps it keep shape. It's worth a try.

rotated help please
Well, my friend and I have been running into a slight problem. Because of the 98 DOHC heads and intake mani on our 22T we don't have enough room to make a good 90* turbo inlet. The turbo inlet is too close to the intake mani. The end result is no boost after 5K rpms. The one we have is sucking close...

I am currently working on the same issue with the same engine build. Boost stops at 5k. I found my problem, maybe it is the same as yours. the symptoms are identicle. The silcon pipe I am using for the turbo inlet sucks closed after 5k rpms not letting more air in. You could be choking the turbo dep...

If you have an Auto trans the only place I know that can build them good is IPT. It would be about 4600 USD for the rebuild though. They are good for about 5-600 hp. Other news, the RS wagon is running, but we lost the tune with a battery change. It is now running like crap again. We need to find so...

LOL, there is no doubt it is running super rich. It feels like fuel cut, but it could be just drowning out the spark I guess. We got the software thing figured out so I guess we will just start playing with number tommorow and get her going better at least. I think it will go down to another tuner i...
