what to pay for ej22t?
I just called aaron's auto and they quoted me 995 for an unknown mileage ej22t and 795 for a manual trans!!
that seems really high. to those who bought their engine, what did you pay? Im trying to start sourcing parts for a ej22t/5mt swap.

bike racks
I need to get a bike rack for my legacy wagon. Im sick of throwing my bike in and out of the tailgate, it gets the carpet dirty and scratches up the plastic back there. Im debating wether to get a roof rack type or a tailgate mount type. maybe evven a trailer hitch mount type! I would rather go for ...

ok this kinda proves the product is BS. sidesteps a valid tech question with a nonsense answer. >===== Original Message From Jenny c <built4race@yahoo.com> ===== >they attach on the top of the struts, you might need >aftermarket struts if yours now are too big. > >--- jbmx@simla.colostate.edu...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2463110329&category=33582 they obviously arent very good quality, but I spoke with the seller and the spring rates are 350# front, 300# rear. seems like these could be an ok setup unless the collars are total garbage, anyone seen ...

my car was broken into the other night at my dads house in seattle. the idiots tried to steal my second rate cd player, but only succeeded in ruining the trim around the radio and destroying the cd unit itself!!!! Whats kinda scary is that the car was in a gated driveway, keep telling my dad ...

I was also contemplating turboing my n/a ej22. would it be possible to swap the stock ej22t turbo setup onto a n/a, ie manifolds, turbo, ecu, plumb oil lines, etc? my engine is still strong (140k) and cant justify a complete engine swap(at this time). a few Q's -how will the turbo ecu deal with the ...

worst hands down would be f 250 at my work. its the company trash truck for small remodel business, so it has led a pretty hard life. no radio, 351 smokes like a chimney, zf 5spd has not much synchros left so tranny grinds really bad and sometimes jumps out of gear. alignment is off and pulls really...

yeh, if they are used for rally they damn well better be strong. but seriously... has anyone ever broken a control arm on their street car other than in an accident? aluminum control arms seems like a waste of $ to me, kind of like a $1000 titanium exhaust to save 3 lbs. theres other places your $ w...

yeah... I already said mk4's suck. for a new, upmarket car, the jettas have all kinds of electrical problems, and a few other issues but a new beetle? those things are stuuupid. the thing the mk 4 does have going for it though is the 1.8t engine. 20 valves, forged bottom end, pretty cheap to get big...
