Looking @ the first pic it looks like the turbo may be a TD06-17C off a Typhoon / Syclone as the compressor blades look to be all the same size indicating a "b", or "c" wheel ex. 14b, 17c, 19c.... G wheels have little, big, little fins all around the turbos compressor - ex. 15G, ...

You can send it to them OR get a rebuild kit for it, rebuild it yourself (about 1/3 of the cost of them rebuilding) & then just send the CHRA to them to be balanced (just $45 to rebalance the turbo). Looks like TD06 rebuild kits are either $89 or $134 depending on if the compressor is flat or su...

Had to check because the flange did not look triangular...lol... 50 trim should be nice. As far as the turbo I have to give credit to my buddy Vince for this one. He, another buddy of mine (who did 95% of the work), & myself turned his Mirage into an EVO III (4G63, AWD, FMIC, 3"TBE, Clutch ...

? H or L it is sitting in my inlaw's garage so checking it out should not be a problem, I'll post an update next time I visit them. I detail my impression of this turbo in the above post & this is the turbo that got my 4eat EJ20G'd SS to run 14.594 @ 96.41MPH with an idle launch (750rpms) @ just...

90* Inlet JDM TD04 - $170 shipped in the US

For sale is a 90* inlet TD04 off a low mile JDM EJ20 swap with oil feed banjo (vf11 oil feed hardline has to be reused), oil drain, both coolant lines, & 8psi actuator. Turbo is in excellent condition with nice dry wheels & no shaft play. It was used on my SS with NO issue for a few months w...

Looks like the turbo does not have a Subaru inlet flange, is your car flanged for this turbo(The custom up-pipe on my OBS-t is flanged for Mitsubishi square inlet housings)? I had a hybird of one these made out of some spare parts. CHRA was a free Eclipse TD05-14B (same turbine & shaft as a 16G)...

If you were getting just 5psi of boost using premium gas with the boost solenoid hooked up something is wrong with your car.

Check that the knock sensor is not cracked.

My '95 STi Ra swap had this EXACT same Silver TMIC/elbow/connector. I think this is a stock STi set-up as three of us have/had the same TMIC/elbow/silicone connector (PharraM's, this one, & mine). The cast elbow is actually very nicely machined internally from the factory (has a taper to match s...

I think the engine usual upgrade path would be 0. fresh tune up - car should be running well with no CELs 1. Intake - K&N drop in, c-cup mod, desnorkus 2. Intercooling 06-07 WRX seem to be the best fitting cheap TMIC 3. 3" TBE 4. Walbro 255 HPHV fuel pump 5. Turbo upgrade (TD04 off a WRX is...

Are you intercooled?
If so that may explain the drop in pressure.

What about a RHB5 turbo? I have not looked @ this in a while but if you are talking about the VF11 I think it should be fine. Porting it out should help it breath a bit. It will not be able to hold higher boost levels to redline, but who cares as you are not gonna be pushing much boost anyway. By u...

You can get an adjustable FPR & lower Fuel pressure a little so the ECU can keep up with fueling.

OR

You can get a piggy back.

If there is a hydraulic hose shop in your area they should have loose hose that is oil resistant - it will be expensive though as it is designed to be used on high pressure applications - 350+psi.

Another option would be oil or tranny cooler hose in the proper size.
