Re: Ebrake and AWD
That might explain the more pickup, ehh, 4EATs are more complicated than Calc and girls combined. I dont' think the fuse exsists for the 5MT cars. As for screwing the transmissions up by operating in FWD, I've heard of an SVX or two being messed up that way, but it was in conjunction with the E-bra...

Well my automatic doesn't have reverse (well it slips when cold, but otherwise nothing), and the impreza would be 900$ (body has a lot of rust and is missing panels  . would you consider the investment a wise one? i thought my rear diff was 3.54*(something like that, printed on the rear diff ...

simply put the fuse in there.. cut one of the wires and put long leads on it that go into your cabin and wire it to a switch.. so it just finishes the circuit when flipped on.. ya i did this a long time ago than mdae it better by wiring up to my e-brake light via relay  (e-brake turns in an...

Re: Weird boostcontrolling!
The boostlevels are quite weird! If i really put the gas fully the boost peaks quite fast to 0.9bar but directly drops to 0.7-0.75 and keeps there thru the revs. Is the bleedvalve bleeding at all? Shouldn't the boost remain at 0.9bar. (3inch system from turbo and back + sport airfilter) Or is it th...

yes the seatbelt is connected, though it had to be undone to let me take a good pic. uh i get about high 15 1/4miles, depends on the wind though- the legacy wagon is not aerodynamically friendly.. add to that the auto tranny... i've seen high 0.8gs cornering while braking... otherwise the car can do...

Close to what I did. My switch is in the same spot, but this is what i did underhood: http://www.thawa.net/gallery/albums/Legacy-turbo/Legacyengine1b_sized.thumb.jpg I bought a small washer fluid tank with pump attached at a junkyard. It fit just next to the battery. I used sprayers for plant water...

So your coolant filler tank is strapped to both the engine and the overflow tank? You're aware that those two things move relative to each other, right? The engine can move a lot on its mounts when it's producing a lot of torque. It kind of looks like some of the hoses you ran go up and then back d...
