Well my automatic doesn't have reverse (well it slips when cold, but otherwise nothing), and the impreza would be 900$ (body has a lot of rust and is missing panels :shock: . would you consider the investment a wise one?

I'm asking if the manual transmission will bolt up well and all the gearing work out from a 96 Impreza L parts car to be put in my ej22t wagon.

simply put the fuse in there.. cut one of the wires and put long leads on it that go into your cabin and wire it to a switch.. so it just finishes the circuit when flipped on..

The boostlevels are quite weird! If i really put the gas fully the boost peaks quite fast to 0.9bar but directly drops to 0.7-0.75 and keeps there thru the revs. Is the bleedvalve bleeding at all? Shouldn't the boost remain at 0.9bar. (3inch system from turbo and back + sport airfilter) Or is it ...

i blew my tranny up using that fwd swich. :(
sorry to wander from topic.. but WHA!? how'd that happen, drive too long with it in FWD. i have a relay hooked up to my e-brake so when i pull up on my e-brake a tad the car goes into fwd :wink: , just wondering if that's how you broke your tranny. Mine ...

So your coolant filler tank is strapped to both the engine and the overflow tank? You're aware that those two things move relative to each other, right? The engine can move a lot on its mounts when it's producing a lot of torque.
It kind of looks like some of the hoses you ran go up and then back ...
