Automatic Trans compatibility

Alright, I have a very quick question, which I just need some confirmation on. Im replacing the auto in my 91 ss, and since its so difficult to track down these trans anymore, I was wondering if it would be a direct bolt in from any other automatic subaru (assuming that I have the rear diff form the...

Thanks

NOW I'M FUC*ING PISSED. Drove it for a few days, worked like a charm. Go to a friends house, and come out a few hours later...the power light starts flashing upon start up, I have torque bind again, and the AWD feels off again. I am thinking its not the solenoid itself but somewhere further down the...

Here is something interesting. I know you guys have said use the 0.9 bar cap...well recently my 0.9 one broke (rubber seal crumbled), so I switched to the 1.1 wrx cap, and I swear that it raised my idle. Previously, it would bounce around 250-300 at rest, now its sitting happily at 500. I can't real...

Here we go, sorry its late... The pipes are pretty similar, except the one on the 02 (the one on top), is about 1/2 in longer and 1/2 in shorter. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b102/spitfire999/P8130869.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b102/spitfire999/P8130870.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com...

Assuming you are talking about the coolant tank, instead of replacing it with another plastic one (chances are you will not find one anyway), try this.

I have the HKS downpipe, got it for 100 used...quality is great, and its not chrome. Only thing is that it doesn't have the bolt which attaches to the transmission, has anyone just had one of these welded on or just left it unbolted?

Yeah, just had the exact same thing. Replaced the boot, all in all it took about 15 min. Things to note about it tho. When you unbolt the arm (not really sure how to explain it) but mark the position so that you can put it back on in the exact same place, otherwise you may risk screwing up your stee...

I suggest replacing the radiator hose you used with something silicone. After a while, the heat and oil blowby starts to get to the hose. I know it did on mine... Apparently, when I was looking for some silicon hose for my turbo setup, I went to one of the chain auto stores (advanced auto or someth...

I would go for the intake pipe, and as for the Y-pipe, I have both an 02 and an 06(maybe 07) intercooler sitting at home, Ill check to see if they are the same length. But I am correct in assuming that this will remove the need to use extra piping when connecting it to a TD-04 or similar turbo? If t...

Now you just need to get rid of that old coolant tank and you're in business.

I found the leak...its a tube that runs from the throttle body to the intake mani. About 2 inches long or so (not sure if you are talking about the same one BSOD2600). I thought it was a lot of coolant leaking from that small hose, then I discovered the cap on my coolant tank had a rubber gasket dis...

Serious coolant leak

So, I arrive home last night, throw my car in park. I notice it was smoking a bit from the engine bay (It does have a small oil leak, at least I assume, that spits a bit of oil onto the exhaust or something and smokes), I assumed it was normal. I noticed it was a bit more smoke than normal, pop the ...

You'd need to tell me what size nipples, how many, and where to put them. It's been a long time since I've seen a stock setup, and I know I deleted some of those hoses on mine. If you could make another 90 degree bend from the turbo and then that pipe that goes from that to the air box, I would be interested.

Thanks

Well I was looking at quotes to get it to PA and I would be looking at 500-800, so to WA you are probably looking at 3000+.
