Probably once every 2 or 3 months i will go out to start my car and just before it starts i let off on the key a bit too soon and it does the old 2 or 3 chugging fires and stops. It doesn't s...

Re: Camshaft Timing Alignment problem

To answer you about the alignment. It is totally normal for the sprocket to spring around once the belt is off.I wont go into detail as the forum already contains enough of the info. read here. http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=44436&hilit=timing+belt http://www.main.experience...

Are all your grounds and connections good by multimeter or by eye? You may just put in another ecu and have the same result, these issues are not typically ecu problems. The ecu is just a big calculator under the dash.

Rumor has that Audi's have more than their share of issues

I believe the word "rumor" should be reserved for that which is not completely obvious and routinely proven hundreds of times.

Re: rs front clip on leggy

Blehhhh, I've seen a few people say they like that car, I think it's one of the ugliest Legacys I've seen, I'd almost be less embarrased to drive the peeling flat black wagon with a piece of wood glued on as the rear window I found in a junkyard. Finding myself having to agree. Its the "subaciv...

Re: So...my wife left me...for another woman.

All i can say is that if you want another chance down the road, let her be.Its the best thing you can do, if you make yourself appear as a freak about it and let yourself get out of control you will regret it later when you realize things may have worked if you didnt.

Re: Lets Talk LW Flywheels Vs Pulleys

The one gripe i have with LW flywheels is the fact that they are light :D Im really not able to accept that it is really better to have your engine be able to "rev quicker" at the expense of removing rotational weight. It seems to me that for a daily driver it would be far better to keep a ...

Re: WRX Powered AWD Nissan Pickup Truck

Flux-core can penetrate just as well as gas-shielded, if done properly, and is faster and cheaper. The process itself isnt the problem, yes there is good flux core equipment out there and it serves a purpose.Problem is at least 90% of the time when you see a home hobbyist pumping out flux welds it m...

external fishplates instead of that internal one. more weld spread out over a wider area.
Exactly, however IMO the omission of that is more than a minor overlook.

Re: I want regular ol' brakes (ABS delete?)

If I was going to try this my first impulse would be to get all the brake lines, master cylinder and proportioning valve from a non-ABS car.

The above procedure is likely faster, easier and cheaper.

X2. Skid's idea is fine and has been done a bunch of times.
