I just did this on my 93. Got an 8 inch section of 3 inch and welded that in and cut off one hanger and relocated that back like 6 inches and everything else is fine. If you can't weld bring it to a shop and its pretty straight forward.

ABS pump satying on
So mine does this on occasion. In neutral at a stop light pedal starts acting like the abs is pulsing.
Why not just take the abs pump out of the loop and just run it without abs?? Pull the relay and call it a day?

Supposedly a na Dohc head will flow much better than the turbo head. I intend on swapping over to it. How's the sohc compare to the Dohc heads?

Hopefully the bearing isn't junk now. Did you stake the nut so it couldn't back off this time?

You'd feel it if it was warped. Heavy vibration under braking.

I had an old camaro that did that. Was the master on that one. Did you change the rubber lines by chance.

But it doesn't move when the clutch is out and you're in a gear? If its like that I'm betting the clutch is smoked. It's the next step in line anyways.

Have someone watch as you depress the clutch at the trans. Watch the slave push the clutch fork. If that moves its either the clutch or internal failure on the fork. My money is on the clutch being gone. Prob half the clutch is missing

Rust problem
You'll prob have to pull the windshield to see the full extent of the rust. If you were to buy a rust free donor you could just swap everything into that shell or use it for parts. Ideally it should be the same year range or you can custom fab replacement parts. I intend on doing that myself this sp...

Check out mainelysubarus. We do group drives twice a year usually on the Kanc.
So at like 5k rpm the car acts like it just shuts off. Total loss of power until you let off and go again. Is this like boost cut or something?

Hey Mikey.
Thanks, that's been a hell if a project since I bought it. Some kid went all fast and furious on it and riced it out. I'm happy to have saved it.
As far as the legacy goes my first step is fix a few oil leaks and general tune up and let Mikey influence me to buy go fast parts.

Hey guys. Well I'm the new guy. Just brought home a 93 legacy turbo manual with 117k miles. Traded in at the dealership I work at for 500 bucks. I brought it home for 800. Has a little rust on the quarters and rockers but overall is solid. Look forward to building it up and def look forward to the b...
