These work with ej25d, 93+ 20g, 20k, 20h, 20r heads (and any other that use the same cams LOL)

Do you know if those cams are compatible with an EJ205 head? Looking for a 'mildly built' head for my WRX, might pick these up if they would work in my heads.

Nope, it is an open diff. Good luck!
Thanks for the quick response. :) Thanks, I think I'll be needing it...

For the gauge pod that looks a little too aftermarket for you, get a bezel fabbed up for it to match the rest of the console. It'll still have an aftermarket look, but it won't be so plain nor should it stick out as much.

I'd rather have one identical to my mom's though. =\

Eh. I'll just use it for keyless entry.

The only good point I can see about the Scion is that it won't roll very well.

I honestly cannot imagine that thing getting any milage. It's underpowered for it's size and weight, it's a box, and it has almost all flat faces (sides). Aerodynamics didn't play much of a roll in it's design, I can see.

At least you can still spell and use the shift key while you're drunk. ;) I know a serviceman who occasionally messages me while drunk... It's like playing inkblot.

That might work. Make sure the paint you use is close to the body paint, and also make sure you mask off the rest of everything else that doesn't need moar paint.

That's true. But, IIRC, you can put the EJ25 heads on the EJ20 block and get an even lower CR, so moar boost. ;) Jk. :p

You have a good point, though. If I could have found a good condition, non wrecked WRX instead of the Legacy for $10k, I would have gone for the WRX. :p

ashland? if you want an alarm that's actually effective, then ditch the stock setup and have a real one installed The play was in Ashland, yes. OSF. :p I don't care about effectiveness... The fact is, either the transmitter or the reciever is getting old, because I have to be in a specific spot for...

I can probably find an alternator that's built for higher rpm conditions.

Underdrive pullies are usually putting a smaller pulley on the crank and keeping the other's the same size. :p At least, that's how I've thought of it.

Hehe, thanks. :p I was just up on top of Mt. Ashland today in the Legacy. It's smoother going up the dirt access road in the car than in the truck!

PM me when you're in town and we might be able to go on a cruise or find something that's actually fun to do here. :p

I always get that body style Legacy mixed up with the XT. o.O; I call it the 'Legacy XT'. :p

I like it, though. :D I really like the sedans, no matter the year. Sedans with no spoilers are the best. ;)

Car alarm?

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in electrical... Basically, I dislike the 2000's car alarm. It honks. Loudily. It's irritating when I pull in at like 2 am and it goes 'HONK!' Is there a way to upgrade the alarm? Mom's 2003 Outback has an alarm, and it 'beeps' instead of honks. I wish this one w...

New car haha...

Basically, I bought a used 2000 Legacy Sedan. It needed a few fluids changed, basic service, like a 30k or a 60k (the 30k apparently was skipped or missed, the car now has 50k on it). Well, I took it to a shop, and had the guy do it. Today, I picked it up, and noticed driving it home, it had NO POWE...

o.O; That is a very good question, actually. Since I won't be running insane things from this, like 16v lights, or a monster sound system, an underdrive pulley kit should keep anything sensetive to high revs happy. I don't think that will be a problem, but I'll contact a rep at Axis when I decide it...

Old Legacy Wagon and new Legacy Sedan.

First is my first car, after it's unfortunate encounter with a guardrail getting on the freeway: http://animespoof.com/chistuffs/wreck That was a 'no fault' wreck caused by bad brake components and wet conditions. It was a 1995 Legacy L wagon. Was just getting ready for it's 100k checkup, too. :( Th...

I almost bough a 1992 SVX and swapped a WRX tranny into it. :p

For the track, you should just run straight pipes. But, if you're going to use it for your daily driver, uh, that might not be a good idea.

At least he's getting better torque from all of that backpressure. :p
