Sorry for being in BFE... Also, I'd rather not part it out as I don't have much time to package/ship. If you're willing to come get it, holler at me. I would much rather see the whole thing go at once...but if anyone really needs a part I've got and is willing to come and get it, feel free to contac...

Anyone need a '90 Legacy?

Well, since I killed 'er, I bought a '99 Impreza. Still sitting here...I've been trying to find a home for it but...seems nobody wants a busted lego. If anyone needs a 1990 Legacy N/A 4EAT w/blown motor...hit me with a reasonable offer. Motor is ABSOLUTELY gone. Lost oil pressure and threw a rod thr...

She's dead again,,,

Yup my '90 Lego L blew itself up again. Dunno what happened to it. Ran fine most of the way to school this morning. Was making noise that I thought was a dead HLA...got most of the way home and she started sounding like a busted rod so I pulled over to check it out and couldn't see anything wrong. A...

Go to your local grocery store and ask them for a big box...one that will fold flat and fit well between your front wheels. Park the car and slide the cardboard under there. The morning after that, look at the cardboard and see where it's got oil on it. That will give you an idea of where to start l...

Actually I think I found a good mounting point last night. I haven't got an A/C condenser anymore so the part of the support underneath that looks like a decent option. Pull the grill, unbolt the radiator supports, drill, done. I hope... I'm already tying the top into the bolts on top of the bumper ...

Sounds good but won't work for me. I'm trying to do this without permanently modifying the car. I'm hoping to get a Sport Sedan next summer and when I sell my L, I don't want it to be more hacked up than it already is.

Light bar on a BC

I've got a '90 Legacy L with a cracked-out, homebrewed lightbar on the front that holds my two hella FF1000's. I bought some 1" square-tube steel and am planning on welding myself a nicer-looking bar. Has anyone else here done this to a BC? Where did you tie into for the bottom mounts? There ar...

You've got subwoofers with dual voice coils. This means you have more options on how to present a load to your amplifier, thereby getting the best power from your amp to your subs.

http://www.cardomain.com/shop/wooferwizard.pl This page will help a lot.

Good luck and nice choice on the subs.

I really would reconsider how much you wish to drop if you are planning on using KYB GR-2's or even AGX's. AFAIK, they'll not handle much more than a 1.5" drop very well. If you want to go lower than this, I'd recommend coilovers or maybe even struts off an STi with lowering springs those strut...

Why are you looking for a 3.90 tranny? Is the car turbo or naturally aspirated? N/A Legacy's came with a 4.11 final drive transmission and rear diff. Sounds like torque bind. Try to locate the FWD fuse-holder under the hood (mine's really close to the passenger side strut tower) and put in a 15 amp fuse. Drive the car around, if it doesn't shudder anymore, then you've probably got torque bind. If you decide the car is suffering from torque bind, ...

I got an el-cheapo ebay Head Gasket kit for my Legacy. It came with two head gaskets, front cam seals, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets, valve stem seals, and a crapload of o-rings. Cost about 40 bucks with shipping. If you're leery of this, you can order gasket kits from http://subarugenuinepart...

I'm still making my 90 Lego better than new - re-plumbed PCV system with all brass fittings, new GR-2's all the way around, new Goodridge SS brake lines, ATE Subaru...erm...Superblue brake fluid, completely dismantled and tossed-out air conditioning, and new gaskets everywhere I could get to. What shape are the rear top mounts in? I'm in need of every bit of it from the rubber that meets the top of the spring to the tops of the studs/nuts.

Price shipped to Leslie, WV (25972) would be greatly appreciated.

Also, how are your fenders? :D

It's so close I can smell it

After killing my 90 Legacy a coupl'a months back, I'm finally getting it dang close to being back to running order again. Thanks for the info - especially regarding the Group N top mounts. I wasn't sure if they worked with stock-style springs or not. I'm assuming I'd be alright to order the 92-94 style springs with 92-94 AGX's and Group N top mounts? Hopefully ride-height won't change too much, though I know the Whitel...

I'm very strongly considering AGX's from a 92-94 (according to TireRack) combined with some WhiteLine Control springs. Is there a better/cheaper source for AGX's than TireRack?
