Re: Exhaust temp gauge...where to mount sensor?
Literally, the best place is inside the combustion chamber, but in most applications that's not possible. The next best place is as close a physically possible to the exhaust port in the cylinder head, because you want the true temperature of the combustion in the cylinder, not what the temp is six ...

Re: Subaru select monitor cartridges Q's
Does anyone have instructions on how to use these things? I tried hooking one up to a friend's legacy and it seemed to just error out, no matter what input I gave it.

Re: guesswho's 91LSi
I know this thread hasn't been updated in some time, but I also have an ARC oil pan and am doing some investigation on oil pan/header compatibility. How was the fitment with the GT-Spec header and ARC oil pan?

LEGOs my friend, LEGOs
I'm not 100%, but I'm fairly certain that the suspension on any EJ powered Subaru will physically bolt onto your Legacy, buy you might have to use your factory strut tops IN THE REAR. The fronts should be a direct swap. Basically any STI parts will work on front and rear, as long as the rear tops ar...

Nice job Conrad! Glad to hear you got those speakers in after all! I'll have to get a ride in that next time I come down, which should be on the 20th. MagicMike, I think you were kinda rude too. The way you responded was harsh, when all he needed to be told was that he should have done more research...

Id agree
The fact that most people don't know what kind of car is in my garage is suprising considering everyone and their brother can spot a Civic. I would disagree about the Impreza though. It continues to get better and better! Place the GDA against any other STi and it'd win. The pricing is way outta my ...

I thought that the only aluminum part was the lower control arm and the rest were steel. Is the suspension in the new GDB chassis all aluminum (besides the control arm)?

I dont think the 3 solenoid is just for automatics. I beleive it was just conicidence that the auto update and the ABS update were in the same bullitin. Why would they have two different systems for the same car?

is that an Impreza strut tower bar? If so, what had to be done to get it to fit, or did it just bolt in? Any issues with it?

Oh man
I seriously doubt you got a 22B engine. Those are collectors cars (only 400) and if somebody crashed it, they would rebuild it. maybe a factory engine, but that would be well over $10Gs because a regular STi RA spec C longblock is like $10Gs.

Can we get a part number for that bumper beam? Maybe SOA can still get them for us. Also PNs for the mounting brackets would help!
