I did get it from you. Don't remember what I paid ya for it.

It was going to be used to fab a direct fit metal one, but that never happened (it's hard to find reliable folks to make something like that for small quantities).

Do you need one Matt? I'm trying to clear out my garage a little.

The guy I have working on it isn't very reliable. I'm trying to get a response from him about the project and trying to get my original plastic tank back (to have someone else take on the project).

Still in the works, but is by no means as easy as it should be.

Legacy won't start

Started making a horrible sound (like a pulley was loose or a belt had broken). Checked the belts I could see and all were in good shape. Left the car in the mountains. Towed it down on Sunday night and it's in the shop right now. It turns over, but doesn't "catch" to start. I'm thinking i...

Turns out that the part that I thought was for trailer lights was actually a dealer installed ignition bypass security thing.

Took it out (wonder why it wasn't taken out by the dealer when it was first sold in '94? :? ) and the car starts just fine.

My wife had her key in the ignition and the other key went into the trailer light hookup. She said there were lots of sparks and that the key got hot. She said the key was in there for a couple seconds. Now the car won't start unless I do the same thing (one key in the 12V trailer hookup and ...

I'm going to be putting mine in soon as well, but I bought a high temp silicone adapter to come off the turbo and I'm having an exhaust shop custom bend pipe to go from that connector to the stock Y pipe of the WRX intercooler.

I have a WRX intercooler that I'm putting in it so I will be relocating the tank. I'm hoping that I can find a smaller windshield washer resevoir at the u-pull-it junkyard and mount something next to it.

Sweet. This part is going to be the prototype for a metal one I'm going to have my brother try to make. Possibly with different mounting brackets so it could be relocated.

Is the tank I posted equivalent to our plastic coolant tank that always breaks? I know it's not a direct fit, but is it the same concept?
